Conceived by Thomas Albertsen for the renowned Danish TV competition 'Denmark's Next Classic,' the Grasp lamp claimed its well-deserved runner-up position in the Best Lighting Design category in 2022. Recognizing the exceptional potential in Albertsen's design, Frandsen is pleased to welcome this distinctive creation into its latest collection. About the task for the TV competition, Albertsen says;

“The project was to create a cordless lamp, which was portable and that created an atmospheric glare free light, and also create a useful space in the dark.

I wanted to make a portable lamp capable of illuminating a table where people gather, enveloping the surroundings in a warm, intimate ambiance, casting a magical aura in the otherwise dark spaces.”

Grasp’s distinctive appeal is the pendant-style lampshade, and thanks to its IP protected rating, Grasp harmoniously transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. As its name suggests, Grasp combines effortless handling with ergonomic proportions, its sturdy conical base facilitating placement on any surface, be it rough or smooth.
